The Vans Classic Slip-On VLT LX “Damien Hirst Butterfly” shoe is a work of art in its own right. It is the result of a collaboration between the famous British artist Damien Hirst, the Palms casino in Las Vegas and the skate brand Vans.
The shoe is part of a capsule collection of six models, all inspired by Hirst’s iconic works. The shoe features a white canvas upper covered in multicolored butterflies, reminiscent of the paintings in Hirst’s “Kaleidoscope” series.
The Vans logo appears in red on the heel, while Hirst’s signature is engraved on the insole. The shoe comes in a special box adorned with the Palms casino logo.
The shoe will be released on December 6, 2019. The shoe is a tribute to Damien Hirst’s creativity and originality, as well as his connection with Sin City.
